Welcome State is part of Elder Islands 2017 EP single. This song is especially close to my heart and has been on a constant loop since the middle of last year (2019). 

Welcome State is easily one of the group's most iconic tracks apart from Bamboo and Golden. The song starts off with a groovy ambient rhythm that gradually continues to build and merge with powerful synthesized drum beats to finally meet Katy Sargent's (leader singer) unique vocals that are powerful yet soft & calming to the ears. The song's glorious harmonies and ethereal soundscapes are what make Elder Island a great artist to listen to when you're on a long drive or just need some feel-good background music.  

Elder Island is easily one of my favorite groups by far. I cannot recommend their music enough.
